Alisha Seese and Ronald "Ronnie" E. Dailey Jr., both 37 years old, were found just after midnight on Friday, Jan. 12, according to officials.

The police had been called to reports of gunfire in the 1700 block of Terrace Place around 12:30 a.m., they said in a release.

Authorities explained that the pair had just finished a shift at Lycoming Engines where they worked as part-time security guards. Supposedly a suspect has been identified. Daily Voice has reached out to the district attorney's office and police for more information.

Police said they are investigating the deaths as homicides but called the shooting "an isolated incident" and said there is "no current danger to the public."

Anyone with information is asked to call  Agt. Laura Kitko at 570-327-7560 ext. 7558 or email lkitko@cityofwilliamsport.org.

Alisha and Ronnie were both parents. Alisha was a native who also worked as a CNA at Williamsport South Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, according to her social media. Ronnie was a Jersey Shore, PA native who was also a lieutenant with Station 3 Independent Hose Company, according to his family.

His viewing and funeral services will be held at the company starting at noon on Thursday, Jan. 18, his sister wrote on Facebook.

Details about Alisha's services have not been released, but on Wednesday, Jan. 17, a GoFundMe was launched to help her family cover the funeral costs.

On the GoFundMe a family friend describes her as follows:

"Alisha’s life was characterized by her profound love for her family, her children, and her cherished dogs. Her kindhearted spirit and thoughtful nature were a source of comfort and inspiration to everyone who knew her."
